Blockchain DApp for Wastes Tracking User Guide

EFPF waste tracking application implements blockchain technologies in a recycling industrial waste process. The participating companies have the ability to monitor the waste process through the app and validate information on each side. Furthermore, they are provided with a way to automatize the paperwork and facilitate the processes for the contestants.

View Assets

This page displays the assets in which the current user (company) participates. Assets can be filtered by owner, asset type or date , in order to facilitate the searching process of a specific asset.

Add New Asset

From the New Asset button, only the accredited users can create a new asset procedure as the screenshots below indicate.

Asset Details

When an asset from the previous page is clicked, the user is navigated in a new page where he can monitor the whole process. There are details about the current status, the transportation, the participating sides. All these details displayed can be downloaded as a pdf format for future reference.

Update Tracking Document

Through the tracking process, each company can access and edit the information for their corresponding part. Of course, not every field is editable because of the blockchain regulations.

During the blockchain process, each partner is responsible to update the corresponding information in order for the tracking procedure to be utilized correctly. The status of the tracking document can be updated through the user via the modal shown below.

Similar to the edit modal, there is a view modal for the participating sides where one can view the whole procedure at the current moment.

Authorized Vehicles

There is also a functionality that allows specific users, to register new users and vehicles, which will be allowed to participate in the blockchain activity. The screenshots below show these actions.
